As a Housing Officer, you will be at the heart of this – becoming a familiar face in our communities, providing a comprehensive, high-quality housing management service to customers.

We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced and caring housing professionals to join our teams at Wheatley Homes Glasgow and Wheatley Homes South.

You will be:

  • an enthusiastic and caring professional who can work, adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and constantly innovating and improving organisation;
  • passionate about delivering excellent customer service; and
  • able to work collaboratively with customers and partner agencies to support the continued development of our communities.

You should have:

  • at least two years housing officer experience working with customers or be part of our Ignite Graduate programme;
  • excellent interpersonal skills;
  • a good knowledge of current housing legislation;
  • a proven track record of excellent rental income collection, void and neighbourhood management; and
  • demonstrative experience of managing a challenging workload.

The role will involve working from home, with travel requirements to allocated patch and Group offices when required. Holding, or working towards, a housing qualification at CIH Level 2 or equivalent, as well as a current driving licence would be advantageous.
