116 reasons to cheer in Ibrox
New GHA homes in the south side are a hit with tenants.
A new GHA development at Hinshelwood in Ibrox has changed the community - and tenants' lives.
The new neighbourhood is made up of 152 flats - 116 for social rent for GHA and 36 for mid-market rent for Lowther Homes, both part of Wheatley Group. The homes are a mix of one and two-bedroom flats.
One of the first tenants to receive her keys was Linda Caldwell, pictured.
Linda said she loves her modern, spacious flat - and it means she is much closer to her family.
The East Govan/Ibrox area was earmarked as a priority for regeneration by Transforming Communities: Glasgow (TC:G) a strategic partnership between the Scottish Government, Glasgow City Council and GHA.
The homes were built by contractors Cruden Buildings and Renewals Limited.
