Smart new look for Livingwell services

Tenants staying in the Livingwell homes - which were previously sheltered and very sheltered housing - helped with the makeover of their common room.

The lounge area at Mair Street in Kinning Park got new floor coverings, blinds, furniture and a kitchen - with residents helping decide the new look.

To mark the end of the refurbishment, a summer party was held in the garden.

Tenants in Clifford Garden in Ibrox are also making the most of their surroundings.

They've set up a gardening group to grow their own potatoes.

Residents in the south are also planning a joint away day trip doon the watter to Largs.

Our Livingwell service helps our older tenants live independently in their own homes for as long as they can.

Livingswell 55+ is our former amenity housing. For people aged 55 and over, the Livingwell 55+homes offer independent living, offering tenants the option of support visits and access to technology.
