Job title: Environmental Operative (Weekend)
Salary: SCP 17-18 (£28,080 - £29,765) per annum. You will also receive a shift allowance of £1,644.85 per annum.
Contract: Temporary linked to period of absence
Work pattern: 36 hours, worked on a Friday to Sunday pattern. Your working pattern will be 8am to 8pm

We’re looking for a proactive and customer‑focused NETs Operatives to join our team across both 24‑hour and 12‑hour Multi-Storey flat sites. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, delivering a high standard of service while ensuring the safety and smooth running of the building. Your responsibilities will include monitoring health and safety, carrying out regular block patrols, maintaining clean and presentable lifts and stairwells, and supporting the upkeep of the surrounding grounds. Your responsibilities will include:
- foyer, lift and stair cleaning;
- maintenance of our MSF blocks and surrounding areas;
- act as a point of contact in and around multi‑storey flats, closes and back courts
- block patrols and window cleaning
- Manage security surveillance, including CCTV
You will be a key player in creating safe, clean, and well-maintained environments for our communities. The successful candidate will embody Wheatley's core values and display outstanding customer service in all aspects of their work.
