Spring clean in south side community
GHA joined forces with a local community group in the south of the city for a ‘Spring Clean’.
The Priesthill Nitshill Community Association and GHA’s Neighbourhood Environmental Team got together on 16 April to clear up the area.
Grass patches and wasteground were cleared of an old kids’ slide, a broken street sign and even an old fridge-freezer.
GHA and the community group are carrying out two more clear-ups later this month.
On 23 April we will be in Pinmore Street in Nitshill and on 30 April in Muirshiel Crescent in Darnley.
