Tree-mendous work by NETs
GHA's Neighbourhood Environmental Team doesn't just clean closes and backcourts - they are branching out to offer tree-cutting.
The arborists were called into action to cut back trees in Edinburgh Road in Carntyne.
The tree roots were causing the slabs in the backcourt to rise and making them a hazard - and were also disturbing sewage pipes.
On top of this, branches were also hitting into the roofs of the block.
Our NETs removed 16 tonnes of waste from the area to leave it looking neat and tidy.
