Fresh new look at Jura Court
Tenants in a south side community are enjoying a splash of greenery outside their community room.
New planters and hanging baskets have created a welcoming, relaxing space at Jura Court in Cardonald
GHA’s environmental staff worked with Craigton Residents Action Group (CRAG) who provided flowers and soil as well as the planters and baskets
Tenants in the blocks – many of whom are over 60 – use the community room for social activities such as arts and crafts classes and coffee mornings.
Joanne Diamond, GHA’s Locality Housing Director, said: “This is a great example of GHA working with local community groups to improve our communities.
“Tenants at Jura Court are really enjoying the new planters.”
